Jail for town beer thief
THIEF James Cannon has been jailed for 10 weeks.
The 33-year-old of Narget Way, Portchester, admitted four thefts from the Co-op and Next in Fareham between July 9 and 30.
He stole cider, flowers, clothes worth £82 and cans of beer.
Cannon also admitted breaching a dispersal order by entering Fareham town centre on August 2.
Fareham magistrates jailed him for two weeks for each offence to run consecutively.
