Lee pensioner getsfive-year ban
David Knox, of High Street, Lee-on-the-Solent, admitted drink-driving at Portsmouth Magistrates’ Court.
The court heard it was the 79-year-old’s third offence within 10 years and there was an accident, with his driving described as ‘poor’.
He received a 17-week prison term suspended for two years.

Hide AdHe was stopped in Marine Parade East, Lee-on-the-Solent, on April 20. He had 121 microgrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath, around three-and-a-half times the 35mcg legal limit.
He was banned for five years and must pay a £115 victim surcharge and £85 costs.
