Police hold crackdown on driving with a mobile phone
MORE than 120 motorists were stopped in a police crackdown.
Sussex police held a week-long operation and stopped 126 motorists on suspicion of driving while using a mobile phone, or driving while distracted by other means.
A total of 101 drivers were issued with fines, three were given verbal warnings and one received a court summons. Seventy seven of the offenders were men.
