HMS Prince of Wales opens to public as BAE System defence technology goes on display
and live on Freeview channel 276
BAE Systems is showing off models and exhibits for some of its latest designs on Monday.
The exhibition will take place on the Portsmouth-based 65,000 tonne carrier as she visits her affiliated city.
Among the tech on display will be:

Hide Ad:: The P24 autonomous rigid inflatable boat, demonstrated in NATO trials in 2019.
:: A mine disposal system called Archerfish that uses high-frequency sonar and low light video data to spot mines and then fires a shape charged warhead. It is currently in use by the American navy.
:: 3D naval radar, named Artisan.
:: A landing signal operator simulation, used at its facility in Warton ahead of real-life landings of the F-35 Lightning II jets.
BAE Systems' Martin Douglas is chief engineer for the Queen Elizabeth class carriers, including PoW's sister ship HMS Queen Elizabeth.
