LCT 7074 now sits proudly in her new home next to the D-Day Story Museum.
The vessel has lived many interesting lives since the Second World War came to an end – including a spell as a nightclub in Liverpool in the 70s and 80s.
After being recovered from the River Mersey, LCT 7074 was transported to Portsmouth and restored to her former glory.
Previous attempts to move the vessel to Southsea seafront were scuppered over the weekend due to the high winds, but she was finally able to be transported overnight between Sunday and Monday.
