However there are three high priority roles currently being recruited for by the Royal Navy.
Here is what you need to know:
Warfare Specialist (Submariner)
This is a high priority role that the Royal Navy are recruiting for right now.
In this role you’ll use some of the most of the advanced radar systems on the planet to identify potential threats. If it sounds like a lot of responsibility, that’s because it is.

Hide AdFrom your first day on board, your role will be vital to the safety of your crewmates, and the success of some of our most highly classified missions, all over the world.
To apply for the role you need to be between the ages of 16 and 39, there are no education qualifications required and salary starts at £20,000 but have potential to earn up to £51,000 through progression.
You will also get six weeks of paid holiday every year.
Communications Specialist (CIS)
This role is a high priority at the moment and anyone applying for it should know that it will put you in the thick of the action.
In the role you will be transmitting and receiving crucial messages.

To apply for the role you need to be between the ages of 16 and 39, there are no education qualifications required and salary starts at £20,000 but have potential to earn up to £51,000 through progression.

Communications Specialist (CIS) (Submariner)
Another high priority role, successful applicants will become part of the elite Silent Service.
In the job you will be a central member of your submarine’s engineering team.

To apply for the role you need to be between the ages of 16 and 39.
You don’t need any qualifications to apply.
Salary starts at £20,000 but with the potential to earn up to £51,000 through progression.
You will also get six weeks of paid holiday every year.
Engineering Technician (Weapon Engineering) (Submariner)
This job with the submarine service is another high priority role being recruited for by the Royal Navy.

Hide AdIf you are successful for applying for this role, you will be responsible for the UK’s nuclear deterrent.
You will be maintaining and preparing some of the most advanced defence technology ever developed.
The Royal Navy says on its website: ‘You might be working with ballistic missile systems one day, and state-of-the-art sensors and radars the next. As a Weapon Engineer in the Silent Service, you provide the firepower, and the stealth.’
To apply for the role you need to be between the ages of 16 and 39.
You don’t need any qualifications to apply.
