Female bus drivers take on Race For Life to raise over £2,000 for Cancer Research UK
Around 25 women from the Chichester and Worthing depots of bus operator Stagecoach raised more than £2,000 in the Race For Life on Worthing seafront.
Running five kilometres from Steyne Gardens along the promenade, the all-girl team managed to raise £2,425.50.

Hide AdOrganiser Michelle Stanbridge was ‘overwhelmed’ by her colleagues’ support.
She said: ‘I wanted to do this event because it raises money for a good cause and it’s fun as well.’
Stagecoach’s pledge continued with the launch of a pink double-decker bus, which has become a familiar sight along coastal roads.
Maria Muggridge, assistant operations manager at Stagecoach’s Worthing depot, said: ‘We wanted to do something to create further awareness of the Cancer Research UK campaign and have decided to dedicate a special pink livery to such a great cause.’
