Firefighters from Cosham to take part in rugby match for charity
A crew from Cosham fire station called the Cosham Crusaders will take on a team from the fire service’s Hampshire headquarters called the Hampshire Barbarians in a rugby match today.
The match is being held at Petersfield Rugby Football Club, in Penns Place, Petersfield, with kick off at 2.30pm.

Hide AdThe game is free to attend, with donations going to The Fire Fighters Charity and Everyman – an appeal run by The Institute of Cancer Research helping to raise funds for male-specific cancer research.
As well as the game, there will be food and drink stalls, fire trucks to explore and fundraising activities such as a raffle with England rugby programmes and tickets up for grabs.
The day has been sponsored by Barclays and all are welcome to attend.
Firefighter Paul Wilkinson said: ‘It’s a fun family-friendly day, so anybody at a loose end today is welcome to come along.’
Firefighting fan 11-year-old Andrew Impey, from Cosham, will start the match.
Doors open at 1.30pm.
