Fundraiser for 15-year-old's smart idea
Customers packed the Whistler’s Fine Fish and Chips three shops in Fareham, Westbourne and Hayling Island on Saturday.
All fish and chips or sausage and chips cost just £1 with customers encouraged to put their savings to Lewis Hine’s charity.

Hide AdThe 15-year-old is running a project called Friend Finder helping people make pals. Lewis, of Havant, set it up last year after undergoing 12 brain surgeries and struggling to make lasting pals.
He was at the shop in The Grove, Westbourne, for the St George’s Day celebration.
He said: ‘It went brilliantly, everyone was in the chip shop buying chips and it went really well.’
Owner Rana Denholm added: ‘There was a great turn out. We’re pleased to do that as a local chip shop we see it as our place.’
The Hayling Island shop raised cash for John Geden to rebuild his apiary, which was damaged in storm Katie.
