Great South Runner reunited with precious engagement ring
A WIFE who lost her engagement ring during the Great South Run has been reunited with the family heirloom.
Jacinta Pearson’s £2,500 diamond ring, which belonged to her late mother was found ‘half-buried in mud’ by a woman following Sunday’s event.
It was handed to a coffee stall operator, whose daughter noticed the ring from Jacinta’s Facebook appeal.
Jacinta, 34, said she was ‘delighted, it restores my faith in humanity’.
