Hampshire Skinhead Association sell out fundraising night
The Hampshire Skinhead Association held their annual fundraiser on Saturday and welcomed around 200 guests to the night.
Chopvember, held at the Dockyard Club in Southsea, was raising cash for Jesse’s Dreams and the England family.

Hide AdPeople were entertained by DJ Paul Knight and band Ska Dogs as well as a few members of the association doing the Full Monty dance.
Guests also got to meet This is England actor George Newton, Gary Shail from Quadrophenia and The Firm’s Eddie Webber.
Keith Thripp, who organised the event, said: ‘This is the third year we have decided to hold a big fundraiser like this.
‘We always do it for families who need some help or charities with specific projects.

Hide Ad‘Normally we manage to raise between £2,500 and £3,000 and this year we are sold out.
‘It is always a great event and people have a laugh while raising the cash.
‘We spend around nine months putting it together so it is great to see it finally here.’
The money will be split between Jesse’s Dreams and the England family. Jesse’s Dreams is raising money for an incubator for the neo-natal intensive care unit at Queen Alexandra Hospital while the England family need support for their daughter Alyssa Mae.

Hide AdAs previously reported in The News Alyssa, from Fratton, has a rare chromosome disorder which causes global development delay. She also has heart problems and epilepsy.
Keith added: ‘We wanted to raise as much as we could and we have a great raffle and auction to do that.
‘People who attend are always generous and make for a great night.’
