HMS Collingwood sailors parade through Fareham in twinning celebration
The parade, to celebrate the Fareham’s 50th anniversary of their twinning with the French town of Vannes, also saw the unveiling of a specially-designed sculpture to mark the landmark at Westbury Manor Museum.
Around 150 sailors were part of the parade and were accompanied by the Band of Her Majesty’s Royal Marines.

Hide AdCouncillor Connie Hockley, the Mayor of Fareham, took the general salute in West Street before an arms drill display and speeches.
Cllr Hockley said: I’m delighted to welcome our Vannes visitors to celebrate the 50th anniversary of our town’s twinning.’
