New centre will '˜give Havant a jobs boost'
The MP saw the ongoing construction work taking place at the new distribution centre first hand during a site visit, hearing about how the investment could see the company employ an extra 150 people within five years.
FatFace’s development is just one part of a planned business park just off the A3(M), which could eventually generate millions of pounds for the local economy, and up to 3,500 new jobs in total.

He hailed the clothing retailer for choosing to continue its association with Havant and said he was impressed by the new distribution centre at Dunsbury Park which is due to open later this year.
He said: ‘FatFace is an excellent local employer which is committed to Havant’s booming economy.
‘It put its faith into our area because of our skilled workforce, strong economy, and excellent transport links. These new jobs will help Havant keep unemployment levels at historic lows.
FatFace will be one of the main partners of the MP’s Jobs, Apprenticeships and Careers Fair, which is taking place on Friday, March 3 at Havant Leisure Centre from 10am to 4pm, backed by The News.
