NORMAN CHAPMAN: Assistance dogs that transform lives
The dogs can do everything – from using cashpoints to emptying washing machines.
Recently the Rotary Club of Fareham counted up all the coins dropped in our wishing well in Fareham shopping centre and realised the £602 collected needed to go to a very special cause.

Hide AdTim Seward, a volunteer for Canine Partners, did the honours of collecting the cheque.
At the presentation Tim reminded us that the dogs are trained to help with all sorts of jobs around the house.
They transform people’s lives and the money will enable them to have two more puppies at the Fareham group.
Tim continued by saying it was a very generous amount of money and that it will help them considerably with their mission to provide dogs for people with physical disabilities. As the charity says, they are ‘amazing dogs, transforming lives’ and this cash donation will be put to good use.

Hide AdWe Rotarians look forward to hearing the positive progress of ‘our’ two puppies.
Every penny helps those in this area who need a little bit of extra help in life from their Canine Partners. I would like to congratulate them on all the work they do.
