Desperate plea goes out to find Buttons, the Tesco shopper cat from Southsea who has gone missing
Buttons, a two-and-a-half-year-old, is a familiar sight ‘shopping’ in the Tesco Express in Goldsmith Avenue, Southsea.
She lives with Helen Earle and her son Ashley, 12, in Greyshott Road, Southsea, just round the back of the store.

The shopper only lived in Frogmore Road, across the other side of Goldsmith Avenue from Tesco, but Buttons escaped and has not been seen since.
Helen, 48, said: ‘Buttons is in Tesco all the time. Someone took her home to be scanned and she escaped.
‘She is very streetwise. She goes to the tyre and exhaust garage on the corner as well and the men in there call her Sparky. She is a celebrity.

Ashley has two other cats, Coco and Snickers, and Helen said that he is desperate for Buttons to come home.
