Havant junior school pupils fill more than 100 shoeboxes with items for disadvantaged children
Pupils at Bosmere Junior School in Havant have filled and collected 108 shoeboxes with toys and toiletries.
As part of the Havant Rotary Club shoebox appeal, the boxes will be sent as Christmas gifts to disadvantaged youngsters in Albania, Montenegro, Moldova and Romania later this year.

Hide AdThe headteacher of Bosmere Junior School, Kathryn Robinson, said: ‘Filling the shoeboxes turned into a competition. House points were awarded for getting involved and the kids were spurring each other on to complete the project.
‘Our pupils related to these children and it was wonderful to see them fill their boxes with lots of lovely items, including toys, note pads, stationary and gloves and hats.’
