Havant scuba diver named as one of Britain's first diving '˜wreck champions'
Mum-of-two Alison Mayor, of Havant, has been appointed as one of Britain’s first Wreck Champions, by the British Sub-Aqua Club (BSAC).
The accolade is in recognition of more than a decade of dedication to researching, exploring and photographing underwater wrecks along the south coast.

Alison, who took up scuba diving at the age of 40, after a friend bought her a try dive with her BSAC club, Southsea Sub-Aqua Club, as a birthday gift, said: ‘I never expected when I first tried diving that my journey would lead me here.
‘As a club we wanted to dive the Mulberry Harbour sites to build a picture of the historic importance of this innovative and ingenious design.’
