AN UNCONSCIOUS woman has been rescued from a boat sailing off Gosport, with a lifeboat crew scrambled to bring her to shore.
Hill Head Coastguard Rescue Team was deployed at 10.30pm last night after South Central Ambulance Service (SCAS) received a call about a woman falling ill onboard a pleasure cruiser off the Gosport coast.
The lifeboat crew were able to reach the woman and return her to Gosport Marina, where a paramedic team treated her.
SCAS also deployed a Hazardous Area Response Team, according to a spokesman from the His Majesty’s Coastguard.
The ambulance service has been contacted for further information.
