Severe damage has been done to Hayling Island's West beach, throwing into question this year's Kitesurfing Armada Festival in June.
But organisers have said they will relocate 700 metres away to be just near to the car park at The Royal.

Hide AdMark Cole, Director of Armada Events said: ‘While we are understandably very concerned about the impact the weather has had to Hayling Island’s West beach, the ability to move to this alternative site is fantastic news.
'The new site, with direct access to the beach, gives us an ideal opportunity to further enhance the festival layout and the overall entertainment offering over the three days.’
The Eastern Solent Coastal Partnership previously told residents that this extent of damage would not be seen for 20-30 years.
The festival site and access road have been damaged.
As reported, timber sea defences have been damaged at West Beach.

Hide AdHavant Borough Council helped Armada Events find the new location - relatively untouched by recent storms - after losing its home of seven years.
Tickets for the event between June 19 and 21 will go on sale on March 6.
General admission tickets cost £6 for an adult, and children under 18 are free.
