Male casualty cut free from car after road traffic collision in Gosport

Fire crews from Gosport and Fareham were called to the incident at 3.43pm where they found a male who was described as approximately 30 years old trapped in his Suziki Swift vehicle.
Firefighters had to carry out a ‘full roof removal’ to free the casualty who was then passed into the care of South Central Ambulance Service.

Hide AdThe incident also involved a Volkswagen car which was carrying a pregnant woman, a child and a male adult. The trio had managed to vacate the vehicle before the emergency services arrived but were advised to go to hospital for ‘precautionary checks’.
Fire crews were stood down at 5pm.
