Quiz night in aid of Cash for Kids
Gary and I have worked closely over the past year, including being my celebrity judge at The Great Gluten Free Bake Off in October that I held for Tommy’s, the baby charity.
On April 4 he’s helping to raise money for charity yet again but this time for Wave 105’s own one – the incredible Cash for Kids.

Hide AdIf you have not seen the ads all over Facebook and broadcast on the radio, the aim of the ‘1000 faces’ campaign is for each participant to raise at least £100 in 2016.
This can be achieved in various ways, such as car booting, bake-sales, school collections, daring sponsored swims and so on.
In April, to publicise the campaign, Gary is holding a quiz night at the Jolly Farmer pub in Warsash, with all money raised going to disadvantaged children.
It’s a wonderful cause and only £2 to enter but teams need to book quickly as tables will have to be reserved.

We here at Free From Temptation will be joining 1000 faces to pledge to raise our money during the course of this year.
Many of you will have fond memories of my dressing as Wonder Woman for Wave 105’s superhero day last year.
I proudly raised a massive £115 for just wearing the outfit in public all day.

Our annual Fareham town centre fundraiser and family fun day will be in aid of Cash For Kids this year.
Keep your eyes peeled for more information about the wonderful work Cash for Kids do in your area.
Over the coming months I will report as much as I can about the charity and the amazing lengths Wave 105 go to in a bid to raise money and awareness for those in need.
Join us on April 4 from 7pm at the Jolly Farmer in Warsash. The quiz starts at 7.30pm.
