Southsea pet hospital run by charity announces six-month closure
The PDSA Pet Clinic in Middle Street, Southsea, will close for up to six months from Monday, with services transferred to the charity’s larger pet hospital in Cowplain.
The charity has said that all eligible clients can continue to access its vet services through the Cowplain facility.

Hide AdIt attributed the temporary closure to ‘staffing shortages among the vet team.’
Area vet manager, Helen Armstrong, said: ‘We apologise for any inconvenience caused, but maintaining a high quality of care for our clients and pets remains our highest priority. We have notified all affected pet owners directly.
PDSA is the UK’s leading veterinary charity, providing 2.7m treatments to 470,000 pets annually.
