Staff from Gosport company to climb three mountains for charity
Staff from Aerial Direct in Gosport are taking on the Three Peaks Challenge to raise cash for Rays of Sunshine. The charity grants wishes for seriously-ill children and their families.
The team will climb Ben Nevis, Scafell Pike and Snowdon in July.

Sarah Blake, who is taking part in the challenge, says: ‘We want to help grant as many children’s wishes as possible. Raising £8,000 last year was amazing, but we wanted to aim for a little bit more.
‘Rays of Sunshine is a great charity and we will be able to see exactly where our donations are going.’
To help prepare for the challenge, the team are training at Butser Hill to get used to steep climbs. Some of them also took part in a 120km walk to help with the distances they will be travelling.

Hide AdSarah is hopeful they can finish the challenge in the 24-hour time limit.
She adds: ‘It will be tough, but we are all excited. We are nervous too because it is the first time we have done something like this.
‘We want to complete it in 24 hours and, looking at some teams, they do it with 10 minutes left. We don’t want to have it that close.’
