Havant firefighters called to A27 amid crash fear
A team from Havant fire station was called out at 9.30am today following reports a vehicle had come off the A27 near the slip road from the A3, eastbound.
When firefighters arrived at the scene, there was no trace of a vehicle.

Hide AdTo be sure, officers used a thermal imaging camera to scan the area but again found nothing.
A spokesman from the fire service said calls like this were '˜unusual' but added: '˜Sometimes they do turn out to be road traffic collisions with people still trapped in cars. '˜But this time it appeared the car drove back onto the road.'
