Weekend of fun at Royal Armouries Museum in Fareham
A drill instructor at the Royal Armouries Museum, in Fareham, will see children take part in marching drills, work in teams to charge, ram, load and simulate firing a bronze 3-pounder mountain gun and learn about the history of the attraction’s artefacts.
During the junior gun drill weekend, on September 10 and 11, visitors can also learn about the 16-pounder gun and see the pioneering work of Florence Nightingale.
