Hide AdGill Bell, treasurer for the village fair committee, said: ‘We were lucky with the weather.
‘The green was packed.
‘It’s the biggest number of stalls we have ever had.
‘In the area we had a dog training with geese which is quite amazing – it’s good entertainment.
‘We have also had a band of majorettes performing.
‘The NSPCC were doing the cream teas and coffees.’
During the evening revellers rocked to the band Kojak’s Revenge.
The fair raises money every year to help children in the village and a variety of other good causes.
Recent initiatives have been helping to pay for the installation of life-saving defibrillators, as well as gym equipment.
