Feilder of dreams in Portsmouth Open... Double for Joan Wilson
The event took place through the week at Alexandra Bowling Club, Northern Parade.
Finals day was on Saturday as bowlers from across the area battled for glory.

Hide AdThe conclusion to the men’s singles was an exciting battle as Feilder beat Jerry Hardy 21-19.
Wilson saw off Tina Amps 21-13 in the ladies’ singles final.
She also combined with Kath Patrick to defeat Linda Maple and Sue Wheeler 24-18 to win the ladies’ pairs trophy.
It was a good day for Amps as well.
Although she had to settle for runners-up in the singles she celebrated success in the mixed pairs alongside Jamie Cooke.
They beat the McWilliam duo of Linda and Peter 22-20.

Hide AdIn the open triples, Mark Howe, Ollie Mew and Phil Drewball linked up to record a dominant 18-7 win against Marty Wake, Harry Hutchings and Don Lilley.
Jean Swan, Den Patrick and John Pearson took the consolation triples title.
They saw off Malcolm Jones, Janet Sansom and Caroline Cuerden 19-10.
Meanwhile, invites have been sent to outdoor bowls club secretaries with details of the forthcoming Palmerston Cup, which will be held during the winter months at Palmerston Indoor Bowls Club.
