A nearly roof-raising final
I am sure many of you have memories of that fantastic summer’s day in the middle of the swinging Sixties. I know I have.
I even had a ticket for the game, but more on that peculiar story on the day.

Wembley had a new roof for the occasion and it is a wonder it was not lifted with the rousing rendition.
Queen Elizabeth, who presented the trophy and medals, must have felt the hairs on the back of her neck rise. Mine certainly did.
