Davies: I'm pinching myself after sealing Pompey move
The centre-half today signed at two-year deal at Fratton Park after his contract at Accrington Stanley expired.
Last season was the 24-year-old’s first experience of Football League action, after spending the majority of his playing days in the non-league scene.

Hide AdHe lined up 38 times for the League Two outfit and impressed following the step up to help John Coleman’s side reach the play-offs.
Now Davies, who was also on Fleetwood’s books without making an appearance, is preparing for another exciting chapter in his career.
And the defender can’t quite believe he’s signed for a club of Pompey’s stature.
‘It’s unbelievable,’ he said.
‘A club of this size is literally one you can’t turn down.
‘With all due respect to Accrington, I’ve now gone from a smallish club to a place like this.
‘I’ve only been in the game professionally for two years, after a season at Fleetwood where I didn’t play.
‘I’m pinching myself and it’s an unbelievable feeling to get it over the line.’
