Paul Cook will make widespread alterations to his side for the EFL Cup clash with the League One outfit at the Ricoh Arena (7.45pm).
And pencilled in to lead the changes is Evans, who is now back from ankle and knee ligament damage.

Hide AdCook is to rip up the team held to a 1-1 draw by Carlisle on the opening day of the League Two campaign as they seek to give others match action.
That will also mean starts for Adam Barton, Curtis Main, Tom Davies, Adam Buxton, Kyle Bennett and Amine Linganzi.
In addition, Evans is set to line up, having missed the Blues’ pre-season fixtures through the injury sustained at Plymouth in the play-offs.
Cook said: ‘We will have a look at Gareth and pick a team we think can win at Coventry.

‘Would Gareth Evans have had a good effect on our game against Carlisle on Saturday? I think he would.
‘He’s the type of person who scores goals and puts a lot of balls in the box, this is all about balances and formations.
‘We will certainly be giving lads an opportunity to play. We don’t know our strongest team yet, we have recruited very well in the summer and lads need games.

‘Hopefully they can guide us through the tie but also get 90 minutes under their belts in pursuit of our main target – which is to be promoted from this division.’
