Ladies' joy at Pompey agreement
The Ladies this week reached agreement with the Blues to share resources.
The ground-breaking deal permits Craig Taylor’s side to use the club’s gym and physio facilities at their Hilsea training ground.

Hide AdIn addition, Pompey coaches Leam Richardson and Robbie Blake are to assist with coaching on occasions.
The club and Sondico will also donate a first-team kit to the Ladies for their FA Premier League southern division campaign.
Williams, a former Pompey board member, has pushed for a structured agreement for some time.
And he is delighted to have formalised an arrangement.
He said: ‘I am over the moon, because this agreement cements the Ladies as part of the Pompey family.

‘I want our Ladies to be proud of being part of that family and Pompey proud to be associated with the Ladies and what they achieve – and we are working towards that now.
‘It has taken a while, I didn’t want to stir things up and probably should have been more proactive.
‘But I am well aware of the hustle and bustle of running a football club with so many demands of people’s time.

Hide Ad‘I cannot expect the club to put lots of money in the Ladies, I appreciate they want to get the best team out on the pitch.
‘However, there are things they can do to help which are not going to cost lots – and that is what the agreement is about.
‘For instance, Emma Sherwood has a knee problem and we are now working with Pompey’s physio Nick Meace to decide whether keyhole surgery is needed.
‘The results of the scan have been sent to him and he is looking after her.
