Millwall boss sees benefits in midfielder's Portsmouth loan move
The Millwall boss took in Pompey's 2-1 win against AFC Wimbledon on Saturday as he checked in on his midfielder's progress away from The Den.
And he was impressed with what he saw as Thompson played a key role in the Blues' eighth away win in all competitions this season.

Hide AdThe 22-year-old was handed a recall to the Pompey starting XI, with his past five appearances coming from the bench.
In total, Thompson has played 12 times since arriving on loan from Championship Millwall in the summer.
He has helped Kenny Jackett's side move to the summit of League One as they sit on 30 points from their 13 league games played.
And Harris believes both Thompson and Millwall will benefit in the future from Pompey's eye-catching start to the season.
