Pompey Academy return to winning ways
The Blues, who suffered a disappointing 6-2 loss at Swindon last time out, were back to their best in a reversed fixture at the club’s training ground, after the Pilgrims’ pitch had been waterlogged.
A first-half Brandon Joseph-Buadi penalty and goals from Liam Sayers and substitute Harvey Bradbury earned Mikey Harris’ side a deserved win, with lively winger Kaleem Haitham also seeing his spot-kick saved.

Hide AdHarris praised the Blues’ bouncebackability, following their uncharacteristic heavy loss to the Robins.
He said: ‘It was a very good performance and result.
‘The boys weren’t on it last time out against Swindon after the Christmas break so we asked for a reaction from them against Plymouth and certainly got that.’
