Former Portsmouth, Wigan and Chesterfield favourite Gary Roberts joins Bala Town
The 36-year-old has signed for the Maes Tegid outfit after leaving Wigan earlier this month.
He makes a return to the club having played for them during the 2003-04 season.

Hide AdAnnouncing the move on Twitter, the League Two title-winner with the Blues said: ‘Happy to get back and finish my career at a club close to my heart.. this is a special club run by some great people who I can call friends.’
Prior to his Wigan departure, Roberts made 66 appearances for the Latics following his Fratton Park exit in 2017.
A popular figure at Pompey and a key member of the 2016-17 title-winning side, the attacking midfielder joined former boss Paul Cook at the DW Stadium after being told he had no PO4 future by Kenny Jackett.

Hide AdIn total, the Liverpudlian made 80 appearances for Pompey, after following Cook from Chesterfield, scoring 20 goals, over a two-year period.
Bala Town are currently second in the Welsh Premier League – five points behiund current leaders The New Saints.
