Mr Le Bon said: '˜It was an easy choice for me to support a charity that helps some of the UK's most disadvantaged youngsters experience the joy and camaraderie of what it is like to sail at sea whilst also helping them with key life skills,'
The charity supports around 3, 000 participants, including many from Portsmouth and Hampshire, to set sail each year and in total has helped 117,000 trainees to sail two million nautical miles.Â
Around 90 per cent of the young people who have participated in a residential voyage believe it has helped them to develop their confidence and skills including cooking and cleaning.
