TWO good causes are set to benefit from the fundraising of staff at an environmentally-friendly waste management firm.

Helistrat, based in Lakeside, Portsmouth, has chosen to raise money and provide volunteers for The Rainbow Centre in Fareham and Breast Cancer Haven in Titchfield.

Alison Jenkins, head of marketing, said: ‘We’re really excited to be working with new charities this year and provide them with the support they need.

‘It’s always so satisfying to see the great things that our money goes towards but equally it is so difficult to limit our support to just two charities.’

Last year, the firm raised £6,000 as well as collecting items and providing more than 100 hours of time.

Helistrat has previously supported the Mary Rose Academy, the Stubbington Ark and Circus Starr.

Sarah Hudson, corporate fundraiser for The Rainbow Centre, said: ‘It is wonderful to have the support of Helistrat.
