Pedestrian hit by car in Fareham crash with busy road blocked both ways
There were delays after the incident and the road is blocked, a traffic monitoring Twitter account said.

Hide AdRomanse tweeted: ‘Both directions blocked on Highlands Road due to an incident near Gudge Heath Lane, delays on Gudge Heath Lane building.’
Paramedics said the incident happened in nearby Blackbrook Road.
A police spokeswoman said: ‘We were called at 8.43am to reports of a collision on Highlands Road involving a car and a pedestrian.
‘The pedestrian suffered a minor injury and has been taken to hospital.’

Hide AdA South Central Ambulance Service spokeswoman said: ‘We were called this morning at 8.33am to Blackbrook Road to a road traffic collision involving a pedestrian and a car.
‘We had an ambulance crew on scene assessing one patient for non life threatening injuries. Following treatment at the scene by our crews the patient was taken to Queen Alexandra Hospital.’
