93-year-old Portsmouth family furnishing firm Marriotts is looking forward to a new era

Over 93 years the store has gained a reputation for providing excellent products ranging from upholstery to carpets. As well as this, the company is well-known for offering service with a personal touch from staff who possess high product knowledge and a free delivery service provided by its own warehouse team.

In May 2019, family, staff and the local community were deeply saddened to hear of  Patrick's passing and all at Marriotts would like to pass on their gratitude for all the kind and compassionate messages from valued customers.

But although this marks the end of a wonderful era, this certainly does not mark the end of Marriotts House Furnishers. All at Marriotts are focused on looking to the future with Liz Marriott and her team at the forefront. 

This marks a new generation running the store, which will feature products with a more contemporary design whilst adhering to the values of attentive and personal service and items of an exceptional quality that Ted Marriott held when he first opened the store.

As well as updated products, Marriotts will still be keeping the traditional ranges that customers know and love and products based on mobility such as the best-selling riser recliners.
