Advice service for creatives

ALMOST 80 people attended the launch of an advice service for creative businesses.

An event was held to mark the occasion by Creative Network South and Creative Industry Finance last month at the University of Portsmouth Faculty of Creative and Cultural Industries.

Presentations were given from the University of Portsmouth, Hampshire Chamber of Commerce, New Theatre Royal and Creative United.

The event was held to raise awareness of the new initiative, which will give business mentoring and finance for creative industry companies in the Solent region.

Creative Industry Finance is led and managed by Creative United, with funding from Arts Council England.

The programme is designed to support creative and cultural businesses across England to become self-sufficient and achieve their ambitions.
