TWENTY years ago, Holloway Iliffe & Mitchell sold Admiral House in Fareham to Fareport Training.

Two decades later the commercial property agents sold the property for Fareport Training, which is relocating to other premises in Fareham and Gosport.

The property, a period building set over three floors with basement, attracted an ‘immense’ amount of interest from developers and owner occupiers.

Stuart Mitchell, director of Holloway Iliffe & Mitchell, said: ‘We are very pleased to sell the property to an occupier who is going to convert the property back to a house, and sensitively restore this Grade II listed building.

‘It was a great pleasure to once again deal with Fareport Training, having sold them the premises 20 years earlier. The property was sold close to the asking price of £500,000.’

Mick Reeve from Fareport Training added: ‘We were sad to leave the high street as Admiral House is such a beautiful building, but we had outgrown the premises and now operating from our other two sites.

‘We were glad to see it is returning to a house once again in keeping with the high street. We would like to thank Stuart Mitchell once again for the professional way the sale was handled.’

Holloway Iliffe & Mitchell remains active in the commercial property sector in Fareham and along the south coast and seeks new instructions to satisfy its applicant database.
