Airport is open for business

THE doors at an airport are open to new business.

Solent Airport at Daedalus in Lee-on-the-Solent has opened areas of prime commercial space at the two business parks – Faraday and Swordfish – for aviation and marine businesses.

The parks offer a mixture of hangars and serviced plots available on a virtual freehold or leasehold basis.

Commercial property specialist Lambert Smith Hampton is the sole sale and letting agent for the site.

Robin Dickens, of the agent, said: ‘We’re expecting significant interest in this site because of its prime location, rich aviation history and accessibility.

‘The south is well-established as a key region in aerospace and marine and we are proud to be involved in a site that will further enhance that reputation.’

Fareham’s council leader Sean Woodward said it was an ‘exciting opportunity’.
