ALDI will reopen its Fareham store tomorrow following the shop’s expansion.

The West Street branch, which opened in 1999, has been expanded to 1,695sq m to meet increased demand and has been improved.

The shop will open at 8am.

It will be reopened by the 1st Fareham Scouts and will be fundraising during a family fun day at the store from 11am to 4pm on Saturday.

Store manager Richard Laughlin said: ‘We’re looking forward to welcoming customers back into our new look store in Fareham, which has been expanded to meet customer demand and will allow us to offer an increased number of product lines.’

The extension has created 10 new jobs at the store providing additional employment opportunities.

Aldi is currently looking for additional staff to meet the demand of the increased shop size and numbers of customers.
