Apprentice awards on offer

Screwfix, which has stores in Fareham and Portsmouth, has applications for its awards open now.

The Screwfix Trade Apprentice Award 2018 competition is designed to find the finest trade apprentices or full-time apprentice students in the nation.

One winner will be rewarded with an ultimate prize package worth £10,000 to help them to step on to the career ladder in the best possible way.

Graham Bell, Screwfix chief executive, said: ‘We truly believe that we, along with the rest of the industry, have a duty to support the next generation of tradespeople.

‘Therefore, it’s important we play our part in encouraging and inspiring those who have chosen to undertake an apprenticeship.’
