Apprentices honoured with awards at ceremony

The event was held as part of National Apprenticeship Week 2017.

Apprentices along with their employers, friends and families attended the PETA Apprentice of the Year Awards.

PETA offers apprenticeships across the engineering, business and ICT sectors.

The awards were held at the PETA Conference Centre in North Harbour, Portsmouth, in a ceremony presided over by the Lord Mayor of Portsmouth, Cllr David Fuller, and the Lady Mayoress, Leza Tremorin.

Charlotte Model-Webbe, an IT apprentice at TrackBack in Southampton who trained at PETA’s IT centre in North Harbour, was chosen from over 400 people and named Apprentice of the Year 2017,

Best in Class for Business went to Gemma Loader of Material Things and Best in Class for Engineering was awarded to Dominic Philo of SMR Automotive Mirrors UK.

Also highly commended were; Christopher Holloway, Connor McGiffen, George Butterfield, Kathleen Bunn, Lucy Jenkins, James Jenkins, Joe Lockwood, Scott Burgess, Bethany Lightly, Jessica Cotton, Jack Ingham, Lauren Wright and Michelle Dawkins.
