Apprentices praised at graduation and awards

AN EVENT celebrating the success of young people has been held at Fareham College.

Steve Willis Training Centres invited the class of 2017 to its Apprenticeship Graduation and Awards evening.

The event praised the young attendees who recently completed their gas apprenticeships at the firm’s Portchester training centre.

The apprentices received their certificates in front of their families and employers, with four of them receiving special awards.

James Green won Apprentice of the Year, Harry Haynes won the Recognition of Achievement award, Lewis Clark won the Stella Willis Memorial Award and the Employer Support award went to Cosham plumbers Eastman and All Seasons.

Managing director Steve Willis said: ‘It was a pleasure to celebrate the achievements of our apprentices.’

and to wish them well as they continue their careers.’

A long with the apprentices and their families, Fareham Borough Councillors Richard Price and Dennis Steadman also attended the event along with award sponsors Worcester Bosch, Fareham College and Anton Group.
