AN APPRENTICESHIP scheme has been launched by Capita’s insurance services, based in Portsmouth.

The scheme will help young people aged between 16 and 18 develop business skills and possibly start a long-term career with Capita.

Ten apprentices will be chosen to work at Capita’s Portsmouth office; eight in operations and customer services, one in IT and another within the project management team. Successful applicants will develop skills in all aspects of their chosen area, from managing customers and communication to FSA and industry compliance.

Anyone interested should email or call the apprenticeship team on 0207 470 9191 and will be asked to complete a short compatibility test. If successful, applicants will be invited to an open day and interview on November 6.
