AUTHOR Richard V Frankland was delighted to see so many people turn up at the launch of his new book.
The Fareham writer held the event at The Book Shop in Lee-on-the-Solent to promote Shadows in the Sunshine.
Mr Frankland said: ‘It went well considering the Arctic conditions.
‘I was delighted by the number of people who turned up.
‘It was good and the bookshop was terrific.’
His book is the third in the series to feature character Ian Vaughan. It is published by Pegasus Elliot Mackenzie in paperback and costs £10.99.
Mr Frankland is working on the fourth in the series to add to A Cast of Hawks and Batsu.
