Autonomous vehicles on display at trade show
AUTONOMOUS surface vehicles will be put on show by the Portchester firm that makes them.
ASV Global, which is based in Murrills Estate, will be demonstrating its C-Worker 5 Autonomous Surface Vehicle at the Ocean Business exhibition in Southampton on April 4.
The C-Worker 5 is designed for up to seven days’ endurance at survey speeds of up to seven knots.
In six years, ASV Global has produced more than 80 vehicles, which are used to run hydrographic surveys for all marine industry sectors including merchant, offshore, subsea and naval.
