AN IT company from Fareham has made the shortlist to pick up an industry award.

Taylor Made Computer Solutions hopes it will win the gong for Managed Services Provider of the Year at the CRN Channel Awards.

The bash is being held tomorrow night at the Battersea Park Events Arena, and honours all those companies which have performed outstandingly for their customers during the past year.

Managed services means the company remotely runs the IT systems for other firms – including the Ageas Bowl and the Southern Co-operative in Portsmouth – and ensures they remain running without interruption.

Nigel Taylor, the firm’s chairman, said: ‘We’re very pleased to be shortlisted for this award, which reflects the significant investment we have made in this area in recent years and the hard work and professionalism of our managed services teams.’
