For months, the public have been voting online for the businesses they believe deserved to win an award, and firms including Savills, Classic Folios and WYG all took home a prize.

The event was hosted by football legend Matt Le Tissier. The Lord and Lady Mayoress of Portsmouth also attended.

Jacqueline West, director of The Promotional Edge, said: ‘It is so important that companies of all sizes have an opportunity to compete fairly and on a level playing field, which is the reason we organise regional industry events in order to provide such opportunities.

‘We are so grateful to the sponsor group for their commitment.’

The awards were sponsored by Genesis Town Planning, Reside Construction, Henry Adams/Simply New Homes, Redrow Homes, Barter Durgan Accountants and PK Associates.
